Make Your Own Custom Blend DIY Body Spray
Since you are creating your body spray from basic ingredients, you can choose exactly what you like! Use essential oils that have a floral, herbal, or citrus scent. This is a purely personal preference. If you already have a variety of essential oils, you may create several different blends to fit your needs.

Floral essential oils may be overpowering in perfumes and artificial concoctions. However, when creating your own body spray you control the intensity of floral notes. Try the following essential oils for a more feminine scent:
- Clary sage
Essential oils with a strong herbal note may be blended with floral and citrus scents according to your preference. For a more masculine body spray, consider a blend of these herbal scents. Try the following essential oils for an herbal body spray:
- Black pepper
- Balsam fir
Citrus essential oils blend well with either the floral or herbal scents. For an invigorating body spray with a clean, fresh aroma, try the following essential oils:
- Sweet Orange
- Lemon balm
Scents to Use Sparingly:
Mint essential oils work well with most other scents, but be careful about spraying on sensitive skin. Many of the essential oils derived from spice can be overwhelming and should be used a bit more sparingly. Pachuouli is another scent that can be overpowering. Use these essential oils in smaller amounts until you are familiar with how well you like them.
- Clove Bud
